Our History

Established over 30 years ago, in 1994, in Portland, Oregon, USA, BC Business Services, Inc. has a long-standing reputation for excellence and integrity in delivering professional services. Over the years, we have evolved and expanded our offerings to meet the changing needs of our clients, earning their trust and loyalty along the way. Through seasoned professionalism and a dedication to continuous improvement, we remain committed to providing the highest quality of service to businesses of all sizes and industries as well as providing quality services to individuals; including Expats (Expatriates) and others.

From handling your personal tax needs, registered agent services (we also act as an Affiliate of National Registered Agent Service Providers); payroll needs and guiding you through strategic business development to offering expert assistance with business setups and formations; valuations and non-profit related services, among many others; we're here to support your journey every step of the way. Our services are very diverse and cover near every spectrum of financial services including assisting attorney's, and acting as the primary accountants on U.S. federal bankruptcy cases under titles 7 and 11 (including Subchapter 5). As of the time of this posting, we are currently involved in two of them.

In addition to tax and compliance, not limited to IRS or state based offers in compromise and tax resolution services, we offer comprehensive assistance with business formations and development, both domestically in the United States and abroad; ensuring that your entity is structured for maximum efficiency and profitability while maintaining legal obligations. We also provide support with domestic and international offshore, banking and brokerage-related services, helping you manage your finances and investments with ease; as well as a host of other services to ensure business or personal compliance and wealth building. Our services in these areas are quite diverse and cover near every spectrum of global business and personal expansion activities both in the U.S. and international areas. It should be noted that many of these services will be and are dependent on our firms KYC Policies noted below.

From bankruptcy assistance for attorneys, to contract review and negotiation to regulatory compliance and dispute resolution, we are here to protect your interests and minimize risk. We also assist individuals in such matters as Social Security, Unemployment, and other legal related personal issues. This includes assistance in filing for benefits and otherwise. As noted previously; we also offer services relating to Bankruptcy including acting as an Accountant for Federal Bankruptcy Cases in the United States of America. We are currently involved in two cases out of the Ninth Circuit US Bankruptcy Court.

Furthermore, our services extend to property management, and providing comprehensive support for all your real estate needs. KYC Know Your Client Policies and Procedures

At BC Business Services, Inc., our core values are integrity, truth, and transparency. We prioritize these principles in every interaction, ensuring that we consistently demonstrate honesty and openness. We deeply care about each client, taking a genuine interest in their lives; operations and business practices or tax situations as the case may be. Our goal is to support them in any way possible, offering assistance tailored to their unique needs.

Our client base is diverse, ranging from large corporations (both domestically USA based and internationally), making in excess of 10 Billion USD per year; to small single-member businesses and individual entrepreneurs and taxpayers, as well as those that may be in need of social assistance (collecting government benefits such as Social Security). This variety requires us to maintain the highest standards in our own business practices, as our actions and reputation inevitably reflect on those we serve. They reflect on you and we understand the importance of our role and are committed to upholding the trust our clients and you would or do place in us by operating with the utmost professionalism and ethical standards.

To further reinforce our commitment to integrity and transparency, we have implemented Know Your Client (KYC) policies. Although not legally required for all businesses, we believe it is every businesses (particularly in the professional businesses areas) responsibility to proactively avoid potential issues by thoroughly understanding the clients they serve. These policies are designed to protect both our firm and our clients, to protect you, applying to all current and future engagements for the life of our involvement with clients whether it be a single job or ongoing commitment to services.

Our KYC policies are primarily designed to prevent or mitigate risks associated with nefarious activities, which may not be limited to such activities as money laundering and tax evasion among other matters. In how we enforce these policies, it should be noted, is strictly internal and not available for public inspection. Our actual KYC policy however, is available for inspection and included on our website. The ways we enforce them however, is not available for public scrutiny. Doing so would defeat having such policies in place as in example, one may know exactly what we are looking for and seek to avoid that.

When engaging with clients, adhering to these policies, we assess potential risks and follow an internal set of guidelines. If we determine that a client does not align with our standards based on our assessments, we reserve the right to decline the engagement without providing specific reasons, although these decisions may not always be based solely on KYC policies.

If we also have reason to suspect unethical behavior while working with or on-boarding new clients, we conduct further inquiries which we attempt to align with the client. However, in the event that should these inquiries fail to alleviate concerns, we cease ongoing work or decline to take on the client. It should be noted that in all cases; we do attempt to give the benefit of the doubt to the client. And unless it is proven otherwise, with our internal guidelines, we will proceed accordingly.

Our KYC policies remain in effect for the entire duration of our relationship with a client. And, If, at any point, we, as noted above, suspect an issue may have arisen, we implement procedures to determine our next best course of action based on logical information and inquiries, often involving the client or relevant internal and/or external sources. We make all decisions internally, without prejudice, prioritizing the protection and ongoing existence of our firm and its clients.
